Planted, or...

CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR PLANTED TOPIARY

Your topiary is one that you can enjoy indoors or outdoors. It is stuffed with sphagnum moss, and is planted with a Creeping Ficus vine. Creeping Ficus prefers indirect light and temperatures above freezing. Like any plant, it needs good food, water and light. Water the plant well every few days, if necessary, checking the leaves and the dryness of the sphagnum, to judge its condition. Do not let it dry out, because Creeping Ficus does not bounce back from neglect or freeze. If you prefer, a weekly soaking will provide a moist environment for the plant. Fertilize monthly, with a weak solution, and continue to train the growing vine with pins.

Remember, if your plant should die, this topiary can be replanted - over and over.

Just remove the old vine and pins. Then, soak the sphagnum filled frame in water to make the moss pliable. Make a hole large enough to receive the roots of your new plant material. Pin the growing vine to the topiary form with your pins and you are back in business!

GOOD LUCK!
